One of the main goals of Florida Watercolor Society is to promote watercolor as an art form by showcasing the work of its members.
The flagship show of the Florida Watercolor Society is the FWS Annual Exhibition which is held at a museum or gallery within the state of Florida, selected several years in advance. Paintings in the Annual Exhibition are selected by a nationally recognized painter highly competent in watercolor. Awards for this Exhibition regularly exceed $20,000 in cash and merchandise.
An additional online juried show, now called the Associate Member Online Show (AMOS), was created in 2009 to feature work by FWS Members who have not yet reached Signature Status.
Throughout the year, other online shows, which are not juried, may be featured to showcase our talented members. We encourage participation in all shows for which a member is eligible!
